altz11's Jordan collection UPDATED 2-4 - altz11 - 12-06-2014

I decided to start my own thread showing off my Jordan collection and mail-days, hopefully with a lot more to come!

Just got my 11 card submission back today. Most of these cards were PSA crackouts. A little disappointed with a few of the results but overall very happy and even surprised on some of them.
About a month ago I posted a scan of my 86-87 raw fleer Jordan rookie and said I expected a 4-5. Well I was wrong... IT GOT A 7!!!

86-87 Fleer BGS 7 - expected 4-5
98-99 ud3 jam masters BGS 9.5 - was PSA 10
99-00 upper deck now showing BGS 9.5 - was PSA 10
96-97 skybox premium point men BGS 9.5 - was PSA 10
92-93 Skybox Olympic team BGS 9.5 - was PSA 10
95-96 ultra scoring kings BGS 9 - was PSA 9 very happy this graded mint. was expecting 8.5
98-99 skybox thunder BGS 9 - was PSA 9 also happy this graded a 9 was expecting 8.5 - 9
98-99 fleer tradition BGS 9 - didn't expect 9.5 but was just hoping.
96-97 ultra ultra effort BGS 8.5..yikes!!! - was PSA 10. was totally expecting 9.5. very disappointed with this grade.
98-99 hoops shoutouts BGS 9 - was PSA 10, again expecting 9.5 and very disappointed with this grade.
89-90 hoops DID NOT GRADE - shaved edge or clipped corner...which is false. I pulled this card from a pack a few years ago. Who would trim an 89-90 hoops card? lol
So overall was expecting two more 9.5's but very happy the results.

Keep them coming!

Nice.
Thanks for sharing! Sometimes I wish drexler was in more early 90s insert sets.

Since there is a post about the 97-98 pmg green mj, I do know there is a 97-98 pmg red and green Clyde drexler. Those are about as big of insert cards one could have. Not sure how many others drexler has though lol.
I think there is a pmg red drexler on eBay right now.

I like that no boundaries. Still need one for my collection!

He does have a lot of nice 97-98 cards i guess!
I had three reds at one point - back in 2000 they would only peak at about $20 each
I sold one for $18 and got charged back because it never arrived apparently Sad
I did keep the best condition one for myself so that's a bonus

I Still need the Green PMG & Super Rave for some reason it's very very hard to find!

That's sweet. I think itd be cool if someone could collect as many as possible of a numbered card such as the pmg. I've actually thought about collecting multiples of certain graded Jordan cards.
You should post a picture of the pmg red Drexler. I'm sure there are some people that would like to see it, myself included.

Thanks for all the responses by the way.

Don't want to hijack your thread!
This is my work in progress signature! =)
I have two more early Fleer PSA10s on the way =( Its expensive competing with PSA set builders.
I can get his 84 Star XRC pretty easy but I'm hanging out for a quad 9.5 version.
The other graded stuff i need is all pretty low POP.
The Super Rave & Green PMG is just painful!@#

nice collection man!
I like the Franz bread 9.5's. I'm in Oregon and Franz Bakery started here in Portland.
Also really like the Platinum Medallion and pmg red.
I always thought drexlers rc's should be worth more.
Awesome collection, you plan on getting any of the raw ones graded?

RE: altz11's BGS Jordan collection UPDATED 12-9 - dale12 - 12-09-2014

im a massive fan of the early Star Co cards
Awesome action shots
In Australia when I first started collecting you would never see any of that stuff.
A bit underrated because of the original distribution method.

No plans on getting the others graded - I would hate for them to be lost/damaged in transit
Mosh of the time I have them in magnetic cases & bags to protect the cases
I do like how BGS have cards in a plastic pocket within the case
