Topps contests ... Are they getting worse? Or is it just me? - DrMitchJ - 11-03-2014 Okay, last year I Won this .... Very cool And these! Very awesome The previous year I won this ... One of the best 'wins' I ever won The 2 Prior to that contest I won a ton of die cuts and vintage cards. This year ....nothing! Did ANYONE win ANYTHING! The contest seemed very contrived and hard to know if you were playing or not. I wrote emails to Topps several times with no response .... Just about explaining the rules.. Nada. Seems that if your active players were nominated as best player of the week, you won. BUT .... there was no list and players were chosen by ??? Nobody could tell me. MLB, SI, Sporting News, Topps? There customer service/relations department is one of my reasons I've cut way back buying boxes and cases.
