+34 Yeah, me too. Of course, I've never bought anybody, other than Nolan Ryan. I started in the Summer of 1990 and I'm still going strong in 2013!! In 2002, after my 6 month stay in the hospital in 2001 (due to brain stem surgery), I started focusing on BGS/BVG Graded Nolan Ryans.

I've never been a supercollector of him, but I love Nolan Ryan. I have more than 1,200 different cards of him. Huge fan since he's from Texas and played here twice (with Houston and Texas). I know I have extras, but know I don't have them in my ORG (I only have 12 items because I'm just getting back into the swing of things around here).

Had a guy bring an autographed orange hat with the blue star and H into my store just 2 days ago. The hat was fitted and was that bright, awful orange. Of course, I bought it. Paid $50 for it. Turned around and sold it to a guy that was in the store at that time for $75. Quickest turnover I've ever had for buying and selling 1 item.

I would like to be a nolan super collector but just starting out. I do have some dupes of 70s stuff already available and more soon.

I probably used the term supercollector lightly but I guess I used it because he is the only guy I am going to collect from now on mainly buying his stuff on ebay or from the local hobby shop tired of buying boxes

I still buy boxes and when I pull a Nolan I consider it as a bonus Smile in the box

Have you got this one?

http://www.beckett.com/baseball/1990/topps-gallery-of-champions-bronze/9-nolan-ryan-5638667

Its a Bronze card and it was issued late in the year and only accompanied Topps sets as bought through Topps.

Haven't seen too many, but I have some idea of its value.
