I was watching his interview a few days ago where he basically said he regretted everything, and I thought of a total bummer.
Back in 2007, I bought a couple of boxes of Upper Deck Series 2 baseball, and they had these "Rookie of the Year" predictor cards ... so if your guy won, you won a set of cards or something (can't remember the exact prize).
Well, I pulled Troy Tulowitzki ... and he finished second in the NL ROY vote (by a nose, 128-126) to ...
Wait for it ...
Ryan Braun.
Tulo's stats — .291, 24 HR, 99 RBIs
Braun's stats — .324, 34 HR, 97 RBIs
Now, obviously I don't know if he was juicing that far back, but man, that would have been sweet to redeem that prize.
You think Upper Deck will go ahead and hook me up?
