Sammy Esposito's Topps file card from the archives - cross4444 - 11-04-2013 I recently picked up a very cool (and odd) piece of history from the Topps Archives. I'm sure some of you have seen these before, but I always get a kick out of them so I had to pick one up on Ebay. Check out the post I wrote on my blog and feel free to share your thoughts! http://viewfromtheskybox.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-trip-through-archives-with-sammy.html RE: Sammy Esposito's Topps file card from the archives - michaelstepper - 11-04-2013 Haha funny! I actually have his '57 and '58 cards RE: Sammy Esposito's Topps file card from the archives - DrMitchJ - 11-05-2013 (11-04-2013, 11:20 PM)cross4444 Wrote: I recently picked up a very cool (and odd) piece of history from the Topps Archives. That file card is crazy-cool! What a nice piece of history! I wonder what Mike Trout's file card looks like? RE: Sammy Esposito's Topps file card from the archives - Phillies_Joe - 11-05-2013 Congrats Cross! Nice neat piece of history and enjoyed reading your post. I just wonder what Mickey got as I assume the "stars" did a little better. Awesome....need to get one of these. RE: Sammy Esposito's Topps file card from the archives - cross4444 - 11-05-2013 Good question, I'm betting they did. What's funny is that today Topps pays players $75/year and Esposito made $125/year.
