Exquisite 2012 product of the year - nol84kc - 07-11-2013

Well the secondary market prices are in for singles of exquisite 2012 and the numbers are beyond impressive. RG3 /99 rc is selling for 750-900. Russell Wilson /99 rc around 600 and trent richardson /99 rc for around 250. This set is yet another gem by powerhouse Upper Deck. The design and look of the rookie patch cards is absolutely superb. It looks like collector's like some of their favorite players in their college uniforms after seeing them in NFL jerseys for over 30 sets in Topps & Panini. Well done Upper Deck and keep it up.

I agree, and dont forget that the Luck redemption is going to be honored as well.

I still like National Treasures for product of the year. Exquisites design is a little nicer but National treasures is much deeper in content with the 1/1 auto rookie NFL balls, 1/1 NFL logos and Andrew Luck rookie auto patches. Exquisite is a close 2nd IMO

I know I am pumped about that. I wonder if it will be an RPA?

I don't think it will, looks like just an auto #/99

Best product of last year or this year? Wink

Also - wouldn't judge sell values as a basis at this point. I'd wait a few months to see if the sales would average out.

But - the design is sharp this year, I'll agree with that.

Absolutely......NOT, the product of 2012 or even this year, 2013, the year it was released. It is nice for college stuff, but the prices are high because suckers pay $500-$600 a box on it. To value a product that costs that much would be ridiculous. Exquisite has always been high thanks to Beckett and the cost.

If UD could produce NFL stuff then Id agree but until then UD will always be behind topps and panini despite their flaws. One thing I have to give UD though is their designs are way better than their competition but college unis just dont do it for me. Im a Canes fan but since Lamar Miller isnt in the product its all a waste imo. I wouldnt mind the Marinos but if Im shelling out $100 for an auto Im going to buy a Phins auto instead a Pitt Panthers auto.

Can't really say I like the Exquisite design, personally. I liked the design of 2013 UD, even with the college uniforms, but I don't know what it is, but Exquisite just doesn't do anything for me. The shadow boxes (is that what they are called??) are pretty cool, but the rest of it I won't be upset I missed out on...

If exquisite had nfl uniforms it would blow everything out of the water but I'd say no at this point. Prime signatures would get my vote. (call me crazy)
