3000 Hit Club GU Project Complete! - aprirr - 05-17-2013
When my kid and I started really getting into collecting last summer, I figured a good project to work on would be to try and get a GU bat card of all 27 members of the 3000-hit club(there are actually 28 members but Cap Anson does not have a GU bat card available). This week, thanks to the Rickey Henderson we got from ca4n6chuck, we finally completed it! Many thanks to all of the members who helped us attain this goal through trades. Comments are always welcomed!

Very nice, similar to my autos projects with 3000 hit members and 500 HR members- if you decide to do 500 HRs next, I may have a Reggie Jackson bat I'd be willing to move if it helped my cause

Thanks, guys! Thinking about upgrading some of the non-serial-numbered ones to serial-numbered and then we will probably shoot for the .400-average club. That will be a relatively small project that will lead up to the eventual 500-HR club. I figure the Shoeless Joe and another Cobb will be the only real tough ones for that project.
