Trade question, opinions needed. - totally sports - 04-13-2013
I was at a show today and I have a 86-87 #8 Fleer Sticker Michael Jordan graded SGC 86 NM+. I had a guy offer me $50 plus a Kobe Bryant Panini Black 2 color patch 8/8 for it.
Just from a neutral standpoint would I be getting enough in sv if I did this?

Hmmm. That's definitely in the ballpark. The MJ should fetch $125-$150. The Kobe would probably fetch $70-$90, maybe a slight premium since it's jersey numbered or if it's particularly good looking.
As an MJ collector I'd definitely keep the Jordan though, but that's just me!

collecting what you want is what is most important. to me, that's a pretty fair trade, but that's me...i prefer kobe as opposed to mj anyways.

Thanks guys, yeah I am a Kobe collector, but I bought this lot so I wanna recoup my money before I keep things.

Feels like trading down. I would ask for $90 with the Kobe.

that could only be a good thing. he would enter the HOF faster if he retires.
