Opinion: Best product to break from 2012 product - lakerdude32 - 02-26-2013
Been out of the hobby for about 3 years and haven't broke any product in probably 5 years. Heading out to Frank & Son's this Saturday 3/2 and would like to open some nice product that I can have the best odds at pulling pulling some nice cards. It seems like some product is weak this year and there is some nice product like hat looks great.
Once I break the boxes Saturday I will post the pulls before the weekend is up.

Contenders would probably be your best bet. 6 autos, and always have a chance at some SP's, not to mention is the most popular right now. Sure, you have a 90% chance of pulling 6 autos that no one wants, but that is the same with any product you buy. (Other than National Treasures/Exquisite/Five Star/etc.) That's the gamble that makes it fun! Other than that, I really like Topps Magic. Topps Supreme is one of my favorites every year too. I just seem to have good luck with it. Not many people like it as much as I do though, it is EXTREMELY hit or miss. There is only 1 hit for about $90-$100 or so.

I like the Contenders or SP Authentic ( no Andrew Luck in it though). If your looking for "hits" then Momentum because its a hit per pack, usually 5 autos and 5 game used per box.

currently contenders is the hot product. any topps product is very tough to pull andrew luck or RG3, so you may want to steer clear of the likes of topps chrome (although if you do pull one it's bucks...IF you pull one). another one that i feel will be a sleeper is prizm, the gold's may be something to keep in the long run.

2012 Limited and Crown Royale look real nice this year. Real good looking patch autos and some nice low numbered cards!
