14 year old Lion's fan Kaden Schmale lost his battle with Cancer this Monday. Reading stories like this always makes me cherish family, friends and life in general. If you have time read the whole article, good read.

What a nasty thing cancer is. Tough little dude to take so much chemo and surgery!!
Suh seems like a good dude outside of football, but he's terrible with media and a monster on the field.

Great read. Tough kid and Suh has made me rethink my position on him. It is great to hear where the athletes take the time to make a difference in someones life.

What the rest of the country knows about Suh is from the media. He's horrible with the media. And his tickets too. On the field, he's literally a monster, not himself. There's a few good reads about Suh every now and the in the FreePress or on Detnews.

Very touching story and very awesome of Suh. I wish the media would report about more of these sort of stories rather than on the "bad" all the time.

Hey, for what it's worth, I'm a Lions fan and have been sending TTMs to them for years ... the ONLY one I've EVER gotten back is Suh ... he even personalized it for me.
So, from this story (and my own experience, not that it compares), he seems to care about his fans.
(Of course, I would prefer he just concentrate on dominating people legally on the field, but ... just saying there's more to this guy's deal than what we read and hear.)
