I told myself I was just going to my LCS to pick up some supplies, and whattya know? Walked out with a hobby box.
On the one hand, I really liked the card design for this year's product. The white borders look clean and I mostly like the inserts. I was especially glad to get 3 hits: Justin Verlander relic, Dylan Bundy Black 1/62, and a Barry Zito silk.
On the other hand, I was pretty disappointed with the quality control. In most packs, the last 2 cards were terribly miscut. Like 99-1 off. (Almost no border on either the top or bottom).
I might contact Topps, but I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle.
All and all, I don't have too much to complain about. Glad I decided to pick up a box.
