Anyone ever seen this kind of packaging error? - starryskyes - 01-26-2013

I recently opened a wax pack of 2011 Topps Series One, and noticed something not right about a card. At first, I thought it was a "mini" but it didn't take long to realize it was surely not that. It seems to me that I may have a ONE OF A KIND... Take a look, tell me what you think, and possibly how much you think this may be worth..
Thanks for taking the time to check it out

looking forward to seeing what others think about this

Looks like the card was sticking out of the wrapper before it got pressed and cut. Not an error, just bad quality control.

Packaging error should still be worth something though shouldn't it?

Not like that, unless you find a hardcore Gordon fan that will pay for that. More than half the card is missing.

I had that happen once a few years ago on a opening day pack. I am a hard core gordon fan, but wouldn't pay anything extra for it. That being said, throw it up on the bay and see what happens!

Generally not. -I think the same effect could be achieved with pinking shears. (I had a similar thing happen with a 2012 Heritage mini Jimmy Rollins sticker.)

Weird. Never seen that before. Definitely bad QC. Is it an eBay 1/1?
