The original Metal Universe design was so flashy and overblown it was awesome. Looking forward to seeing the new ones!

Yeah, the original was good. I liked 95-96 Metal better, but 96-97 was cool. I just don't understand why these companies can't come up with something new... why do they have to keep ripping off 10-15yr old designs?
If they insist on doing it, why not do something really cool - like 95-96 Z-Team, 96-97 SP Clearcut Winners, 95-96 Leaf Studio Rookies, 93-94 Pinnacle Masks, 95-96 SP Holoviews, 93-94 Donruss Elite, 97-98 Donruss Preferred Precious Metals, 96-97 Leaf Best Of

Really disappointed that they canceled Upper Deck Series 2. Its the only set (series 1+2) that I collect. But, I guess that just means next years Young Guns are going to be loaded like they were in 05-06.

yeah, as long as they keep it to 50 YG in each set... I would expect them to, but you never know

To bad the price on Fleer Retro is so high. UD missed the boat on that one thinking hockey collectors will dish out $300-400 for an insert driven product. We are not the same type of collectors as basketball collectors.

20 packs to a box though so $15.00 per pack does not sound terrible.
Wish it would be lower though.
