Hobby for all ages! - durbin2284 - 01-14-2013
As I feel that our Hobby of collecting Baseball Cards for me is the best Hobby that anyone could ever participate in. I wander if it's truly an ageless hobby. Just for fun as we patiently wait for the new year of products to start being released(Jan 30th). I would like to know how young everyone is. I understand that some people feel strange about giving there age and that's fine and I don't mean any harm. I just think it would be cool to see the wide range of age groups that love our Great Hobby. I will start by saying that I am 42 years young and I started collecting in 1983 at the age of 12. My favorite team is the Atlanta Braves but I mostly am a set builder. Good Luck to everyone collecting this year, I hope that everyone pulls or finds all the cards they covet.
Update: WOW! It looks like we have proven that it is for all ages. Thanks for sharing and I will continue to update as the ages keep coming.

34 collected off and on since a kid started with garbage pal kids lol.
collect anything that catches my eyes. but mostly jeter a rod and older yankees

37. An old 37! Been collecting off and on for about 12 years, just recently started adding more since I got my debt paid off!!!

37 years old. Starting collecting in 1987 when my grandmother gave the Christmas Topps set. Have been going ever since. My favorite team is Texas Rangers. I collect their base cards and vintage.
So, other than a few Rangers base cards, not much will come out this year that will help me because they don't put 50s and 60s into packs, haha.

I'm 36 and started buying 1987 Topps from a local convenience store. My little lady is 10 and her first pack of cards was a 2010 Topps Series 1 from Miller Park.

38 and started collecting in 1987 with buddies from school and continued until the early 90's but luckily I lost interest before the dark days of the mid 90's to early 2000's came along. Started back collecting in 2010 and really heavy again in 2011 and 2012.
