Picked up a BGS 9, 1994 Finest Refractor Griffey today! It has three 9.5 subs and the sub that lowered the grade is Surface, which leaves me with hope that maybe it can be wiped with a soft cloth and/or be resubmitted for a higher grade. Gonna have to check it out once I am back in the States.

1992 Griffey Arena Kid Comic Holograms - gyoung - 04-21-2014

I have two NMMT+ GOLD 1992 Griffey Arena Kid Comic Holograms. (Superstar & Defense) Beckett only has the non-gold versions listed, but states in the set information that the GOLD versions are 5 times the value. I can not list them, but I would still like to offer them via a beckett trade. Trade value is 12.50 for both cards. Please make me a beckett trade offer if interested. gyoung

Gyoung, I have 5 of the gold holograms and always wondered why I could find the silver on the database and not the gold. I never thought to check the set information. I wonder if they did the same thing with the 1989 Star Junior cards which have yellow and white back variations as well as a few different promos?

I have so many Griffeys not listed in Beckett. One of which says Boston Red Sox instead of Seattle Mariners. If only he had played for Boston...
