1995-96 Jam Session box break YIKE - folkertino - 10-05-2012 12:59 AM Picked up a box of 1995-96 Jam Session for relative cheap. While breaking figured it was the retail version of some sort as it was ALL BASE!! NO inserts whatsoever!! Below a video of me breaking the last 18 packs for those interested in looking at base cards or hearing me sob. A link to the recap video appears on-screen a few seconds into this video as well. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/SIr9xaB8nio" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> RE: 1995-96 Jam Session box break YIKE - taffster74 - 10-05-2012 11:09 AM Yeowch, Folkert. Were you after the set? Inserts in particular? If you were, I've some doubles of the pop-ups from hobby here that I'd be happy to pass along. RE: 1995-96 Jam Session box break YIKE - folkertino - 10-05-2012 05:12 PM Hey J, yeah this was pretty rough. I was hoping to pull some nice inserts, particularly hoping for that big MJ Show Stopper insert, and also an early Kidd or Hill insert or Pippen insert, the Rodman die-cut .... I basically bought the box just because it was 90's - the time that I started collecting and watched a lot of NBA on TV. I thought it would be fun to pull some of those players again, but hadn't anticipated on pulling just base... (10-05-2012 11:09 AM)taffster74 Wrote: Yeowch, Folkert. Were you after the set? RE: 1995-96 Jam Session box break YIKE - jpleazme805 - 10-06-2012 11:57 AM sorry about no inserts... thanks for sharing the video... brings me down memory lane... I remember buying a few packs & trading for some of those cards... but didn't care for them, since I had no way to protect them & the 5 LCS in Santa Barbara, Ca did not carry protectors for them.. now there are no card shops in SB.. well, actually the last one is trying to sell it off & retire. Guy can't make money anymore.. RE: 1995-96 Jam Session box break YIKE - alstott9adams - 10-06-2012 11:46 PM ouch sorry ! better luck next time |
