A few packs of Finest and 1 of R&S - HenneFan007 - 08-22-2012
Well I went to the LCS today knowing Finest and Rookies and Stars would be fresh. Went in and got two packs of Finest and 1 of the R&S. Here's what I got...
R&S yielded this...

and one pack of Finest was thicker than the other so I was curious if I got something and I ended up getting a hit. Sad thing is that as of now this card probably doesn't even carry the $11 price tag I paid for the pack itself. I was excited at first because the card was blue and I saw the word "quarterback". I was like "Oh god please be Andrew!" But alas, this is what I got...

Kinda stinks that this is my first vet auto and I end up pulling it a month after he's put to 2nd string. Not sure if I should hang onto it with Weeden not doing so hot or what....

Must be nice that your LCS packs out Finest seeing as I'm 99.9% sure they don't use decoy's since it's usually sold by the mini-box not by the pack.
Easy to tell where the hit is at.

lol it would be nice if they didn't keep their stuff behind locked glass. Even then they just pick out packs for you so I hardly even look as there isn't a point. I have heard about card stores taking the "hit" packs of Finest and marking them up to triple-quadruple the price and selling it as a hot pack. I've been extremely lucky with letting them pick out packs for me. Seem like whenever I am able to pick out a pack I get absolutely nothing worthy to write home about lol

Yeah, it is very easy to get the Auto. It is the last pack and it is thicker than the rest. I guess it is good to buy them by the packs if you are in with the LCS owner.
