2012 Topps Retail - picard - 08-19-2012
I never get on here and brag about how I did, especially on retail product (as a former owner of two card shops). However, this time, I had to. Tried a bunch of stuff on a whim yesterday while we were shopping. Bought a 2012 Score blaster (nothing to write home about), a 2012 Topps blaster (again, it was ok, but even my team captain card was ONLY a M. Jones-Drew). Bought a couple of variety packages (one from Target and one from WalMart). Nothing great in those either. I was getting quite depressed.
But then, I finally opened the $14.95 (72 card) mini box (or whatever they are called) that have one "jumbo rookie relic" in them. Ok, so to give you a quick background on me: my favorite team is the Vikings, followed closely by the Broncos. I live in Iowa, so any Bears, Packers, Vikings, Broncos, Lions, Chiefs, or Rams are pretty popular around here! I wish my scanner worked...but check out this crew:

Inserts-Gametime giveaway card, John Skelton gold card, Joe Montana QB Immortals (my favorite player all-time), C. Benson (1965 style mini-or do you all call them tall boys now?), B. Lloyd/W. Welker Paramount Pairs, P. Manning rookie reprint, P. Harvin Prolific Playmaker, AND Jumbo Rookie Relic was...........ANDREW LUCK!!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was a great box for the price!!!!
