OPINIONS WANTED -- tampered BGS slab ??? - coureymarshall - 07-13-2012 Any thoughts and opinions from those familiar with graded BGS slabs are welcome. The bottom half of this slab appears to have lost its "air-tight" seal and appears "frosted" along the edges of the bottom half of the slab. Does this appear as if someone may have cracked the slab and removed/replaced the card inside the slab??? Looks to me like it's just a matter of the way the light was hitting it during the scan/photo process. This type of thing happens to some of my graded cards when I scan them as well and they are perfectly sealed. Here's an example of a broken BGS slab. Are you talking about the edges right along the red blanked out part, or the very outer edge around the whole card that looks speckeled?
