didnt he start off pretty crappy last year too? still ended up hitting almost 40 hrs, .300 and 100 rbi in like 130 games or something?

Can't wait for the HR drought to end. To call the man "awful" is uncalled for.
2 WS wins, .300+ career BA, 3X MVP, 37th on the All-Time HR list ahead of HOFers such as Kaline, Bench, and DiMaggio to name a few.

btw I never meant his career has been awful, Im well aware of what hes accomplished. There is an undeniable downward trend in his stats over the last 3 years and he IS awful right now. Its fact, not conjecture nor opinion.

Beltran was a MONSTER tonight, im really hoping he holds up all season.
