I too would sell the cano rip card. There are set builders that will pay a lot for it since there are only 10 copies available. Couple that with cano collectors who would want the card unripped and that card will probably pay for 2-3 of the boxes you opened.

I am interested in some of your minis and the jeter relic along with the california map card and the howard auto. I have tons of ginter available including minis if you decide to build the set or insert sets.

LOL! I have always really liked the A&G cards from the beginning, I just figured it was about time to buy some hobby and start ripping!

Put me in the line for the mini's, especially the EXT(s) if you rip either of those.
I think you did fantastically well, 2 Rip cards, a state relic, and a plate. If you pulled any NNO mini's or black mini's with a blank back I'd be very interested in those.
Congrats!

WOW....yeah Im gonna really consider selling the Cano rip card now!!

even if it sells for close to what I spent on the 4 boxes I bought Id be pretty happy!

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT!!

yes you should sell the cano unripped card but i dont think it would reach $ 400 to $500.....
because i have a pee wee reece that someone wanted to buy for $300 and its 2008 and unripped

Still alot of interest in the 2011's where as not nearly as much in the 2008's and once the 2012 comes out, interest will lessen in this years. Perfect example a 2011 Mantle #/10 sold for $550 recently, a 2008 brought $300. Hanley Ramirez brought $372 just the other day and there are tons more Yankees and Cano collectors than Hanley for sure

That's why I really hate that they # the Rip cards differently. Makes it really hard for us that collect the set with EXT mini's when these sit unripped Sad From my observations, the cooler things seem to come out of the lower #'s in the run, i.e. a rip #'d to 99, if you have 3/99 or 4/99 those have seemingly yielded the better stuff, auto's, woods and the originals.
Thanks for sharing, this box break section has completely been taken over by 2012 Topps, which I'm sick of looking at already (unless the thread title has something catchy in it)

well......you be lucky to rake in $400 to $500.....i know it wont touch that $400 to $500 range and all this is depending who the player is and the serial number....it can reach that range when he retires

RE: I JUST BROKE 4 A&G HOBBY BOXES - kelbysdaddy - 02-03-2012

i wouldnt bother with ripping either- higher print runs will get you a mini EXT that probably wont get you as much as the unripped card. the cano should bring in good money, although i doubt the 400 or 500 that some have said. either way they are nice pulls. i'd be up for either trading for or buying the tim howard auto- lmk what your plans for that are. thanks
