you need to upload it to a site that hosts pictures and use the link to the picture to post it on here. There are lots of sites that will let you upload free pictures.

Go and get yourself a Photobucket account. Upload the shot(s) to your account and edit them as you feel fit. When done with that, you just copy the IMG code and paste it in the forum or PM where you want it. Works every time!
