Is it down?

RE: Registry - CowboysFanatic - 01-01-2012

I dont know what the deal is, i cant never seem to get it to work right either.. well before the changes anyway.

RE: Registry - branesergen - 01-01-2012

Its been down for almost a year now and no timeline as to when it will be up. They just redid the marketplace after a year so I imagine 2013 we'll get a registry.

The registry is what puts in on the population report, right?

Correct

RE: Registry - branesergen - 01-01-2012

No - BGS puts it in the pop report. The registry is just a place for you to list and keep track of what you have. When BGS grades a card it takes a couple days to update the pop report but they are the ones who do it. Check out PSA's registry for a better idea of why they are liked.

heck, well how do they get it to work lol

They took the Registry down. But when it was up, I noticed that on days that the Registry was acting up, it affected the Pop. Report.

I hope that this makes sense to everyone. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that the Pop. Report and Registry are linked.

RE: Registry - coimbre 21 - 01-02-2012

The registry has been down for two weeks. IT Guy provided somewhat useful background in another thread but no timeline. I've been requesting updates for about two months now and Beckett seems to be content to leave its customers in the dark, which is a very polite way to put it. Loosely educated chimps understand customer retention and satisfaction better than whoever has ownership of the registry project. I've started using SGC for a couple of sets that otherwise would have gone to Beckett.
