What percentage I have no idea but its better than "slim to none".

According to psacard.com, my 2001 Finest Drew Brees RCs graded PSA 10 are currently worth $135 ea. I'm curious as whether the value of my BGS 9.5s of the same card is higher or lower than $135 - or about the same?

With a 9.5 it means that there is something better lurking out there. But a PSA 10 is the highest grade by PSA, so people can brag they have perfection.

I've read through all these replies here on this thread and I think your comment here maybe the one that rings true. If you are a PSA collector and have a PSA 10 there no possible PSA higher grade. I like that idea. I am 100% a BGS/BVG collector and have several 9.5s most show 0 graded at 10 but I know it's possible. I lean towards older football only and I know that most of the older cards get much more 'action' with regards to buying and selling than BVG. For me, I just like the BVG slabs better

I'd go with a BGS slab anyday over a PSA just for the simple fact that the PSA slabs leave the card to slide around and ding the edges up. In fact I've recently been moving all of my PSA slabbed cards for BGS slabbed instead.

LOL this thread. Ultra necro.
The logic is priceless though.

"With a 9.5 it means that there is something better lurking out there. But a PSA 10 is the highest grade by PSA, so people can brag they have perfection."

I'm not going to bother assuming who believes in that and who doesn't, don't wanna kick up an internet he-said-she-said-oh-wait-i-really-meant-to-say-no-wait-what-i-meant-was debate.

All that says to me is:
"With a 3.0 GPA at Yale it means that there is something better lurking out there. But a Masters from McBurger University is the highest accomplishment from McBurger University, so people can brag about perfection."

Everyone is the best at everything if the criteria is custom fit.

I love burgers.

It's totally my fault, man. IF I hadn't of started the ball rolling, you would not have commented.
