STL Cardinals are the World Champs for the 11th time!
I now see there are 2 other threads about this, but I saw that fan's sign at the end and HAD to make it the title of a WS Champs thread!

Bigt keeps leaving out the ' before 11. It means 11th Championship in 2011! STL has actually lost 7 WS'. STL's WS record is 11-7 now.
We still have more Championships than any team not named Yankees!!!

i was pulling for the cards I said with about 2 weeks left in the season....if they can manage to get by us and make it to the playoffs they will be strong to go all the way!

Yes, It was a great series. Not just b/c STL won either. I would have been happy for the Rangers too, had they won their 1st championship. I did root for them last year, but I can't root against my Cardinals. Now I've gotta find me a Champs. T-shirt or hat.
