How many stamps does it take to mail a standard bubble mailer?? - eazy e - 09-25-2011
How many stamps does it take to ship a standard 1-3 0z bubble mailer?Can somebody answer this question for me. Also when trading, do you always use D/C? Or is it acceptable to send without on smaller trades and if so what value? Like under 20 bucks,under 50?

3 of the .44 cent stamps, but i will usually just put 4 on it myself to save any hassle of having it returned and then having to deal with lost time etc.
Avg is 1 .44 cent stamp per ounce

I use PayPal shipping for all my trades, no matter how big or small. DC only costs $0.19, and it shows your trader that you care about the cards you are sending them.

actually DC is just to cover your butt lol
Adding DC isnt going to make the cards any safer or anymore unsafe....with DC it dosent matter if the cards are damaged or lost..it dosent help that at all lol.
If you dont use the Paypal shipping and go to the PO...DC is like .89 for each envelope I believe...and again this is JIMO...I think its totally okay to send smaller trades without DC....so long as you trust the person you are sending to.

At the PO a regular mailer costs $1.71 to ship....and $.80 on top of that for d/c....I always use a d/c minimum...if it is a higher trade I put insurance on it....I got burnt because a traded didn't put insurance on a trade....over $150 in cards lost...never got my end but they got theirs...funny how there not on that much anymore either....

Paypal is 1.75 out the door with D/C so I was just wondering how many stamps to be safe. I received a bubble mailer with 2 .44 cent stamps so I tried it once and it got returned to me. So I sent it back out with 4 .44 and it went ok. I guess if its gonna take 4 stamps then your way better off with Paypal D/C

I think any bubble mailer is the same price now. I shipped some stuff via paypal, and the package I listed as 2oz cost the same as one listed 4oz. I know it used to calculate a different price, but I may be wrong. Anybody else have the answers?

Ive noticed that 1-3 oz is the same 1.75 ....haven't tried anything larger though.
