Anyone want to see theirs. Mine just crashed for some reason. I just got MLB the show for 2011 and pissed now. if so let me know prices.

If you can figure out what exactly crapped out on you, odds are you can find a part on ebay. There are lots of people selling power suppiles, fans, drives, etc.
Will it turn on?

All I get is a red light. I am going to send it back for repairs but turnaround time is horrible. I have the 120GB Skinny. Had it for a year or so. It plays blue rays but you put a game in and it shuts off and the red light comes on.

I had the same problem a few years back. I called the sony 1-800 number and they walked me thru how to fix it. Hopefully you can get yours fixed!

Was it yellow first, then a red?
Search "ylod ps3" and "rlyod ps3" on you tube.
ylod=yellow light of death
rlod= red.
There are tons of how-to videos and explanations as to why this happens. The fat ps3's had solder and heat sink problems. IDK about slims.

That's happened to me before, but my PS3 usually spits it back out and tells me "WTF?!"
Oh try spraying the fan off with an air can. It could just be dirty and not getting proper ventilation.

It was yellow. My g/f ever since she started playing her zumba game on my ps3. it's been acting up and then it turned red on me. Its under extended warranty but in the mean time Im going to get another one and when I get my other back, just give to my brother.
