How Did I Do? - opierocks - 03-19-2011 01:53 PM Stopped at London Drugs on my way to work last night, and saw they had blaster boxes of 10/11 Donruss marked down from $24.99 to $16.00, so I grabbed one. In 8 packs, I pulled the following PC needs: Canucks: Mason Raymond Base Ryan Kesler Base Rick Rypien Base Mason Raymond Boys of Winter GU Senators: Daniel Alfredsson Base Erik Karlsson Base Jason Spezza Base Brian Elliott Ultimate Draft Tough Times Ron Hextall Rated Rookies Jean Phillippe Levasseur Rated Rookies Tyler Seguin Overall, I'm happy with the box. 8 cards for the PC's and at least one sweet RC...what do the rest of you think? RE: How Did I Do? - rcm331 - 03-19-2011 02:05 PM I think the Tyler Seguin made it worth the picking up. Not too bad for only $16.00 RE: How Did I Do? - opierocks - 03-19-2011 02:09 PM Thanks. I was a bit surprised when I saw the price. Was thinking of grabbing an Artifacts Blaster (2010-11), but then I saw the yellow sale tag on the Donruss, so I thought why not... RE: How Did I Do? - snobles - 03-19-2011 02:14 PM Great pulls and always nice to get PC cards. Not sure about the collation though...Both Raymonds, the Kesler, and Spezza were all in 1 pack! Not complaining though, but I thought I was only going to hit 4 cards for the PC's until I opened that 1... RE: How Did I Do? - opierocks - 03-20-2011 01:46 PM So, because I couldn't resist (Damn you, cursed will power!) I grabbed another Blaster from LD last night. Not as nice as the first one, but I did pick up 5 more Canucks and Senators base cards for the PC's, as well as Rated Rookies of Tangradi, Zach Hamill, Brayden Schenn, and some kid in Carolina named Skinner! I've noticed on the Rated Rookies that the bottom of the card has a white-ish square area. I'm guessing this was for the Auto variations? |
