Case #8 Summary
Grade: C
Comments: For better or worse, this is an average value case of this product: a single card worth the price of 4 boxes and then a lot of base. Not a lot of excitement in the parallel prospect auto contest, with one blue and one gold, and a modest amount of base refractors. Maybe #s 9 and 10 will have some more drama. BTW, North Carolina scored 102 points in round 1, which serves as the contest tiebreak. Hoping to crack case #9 tonight.

Would be great!

Only one Harper in eight cases? That's ridiculous.

The only upside is that there should be a high ceiling for your top of the line draws.

You aren't even guaranteed 1 AFLAC in a case and there are 25 different cards on the checklist. Why would you ever think that someone would get 2 harpers in 8 cases ???

Didn't realize the only Harper is an AFLAC card.

I had high hopes for you with my 30 refractor auto's looked at first you were getting one every other box then case 6 on hit. Hope you last 2 cases goes better then the last 3.

Case #9, Box #1

Notable base refractor: Mike Olt, Noah Syndergaard
Draft Blue /399: Drew Vettleson, Steve Tolleson
Auto: Taylor Lindsey
AFLAC Auto /230: Matt Harvey

Grade & Comments: D+. Ouch. I burned an AFLAC auto on Harvey in the very first box.
Contest totals: 7,1,1,0,0,0,0

Right -- would be a much stronger product with a base prospect auto of Harper. Obviously.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah, it's been a weird break.
Case #9, Box #2

Draft Blue /399: Buster Posey
Blue Refractor /199: Adrian Marin
Auto: Taylor Lindsey

Grade & Comments: D. Back to back Taylor Lindsey, yikes. FWIW, I still don’t have a Manny Machado base auto.
Contest totals: 7,1,1,0,0,0,0
Case #9, Box #3

Draft Blue /399: Madison Bumgarner
Blue Refractor /199: Manny Machado
Auto: Ryan Bolden, Mike Foltynewicz

Grade & Comments: C. Two autos, both base, both extremely weak. Really nice Machado parallel, though.
Contest totals: 7,1,1,0,0,0,0

Case #9, Box #4

Draft Blue /399: Kaleb Cowart
Blue Refractor /199: Daniel Nava, Josh Bell
Gold Refractor /50: Vance Worley

Grade & Comments: F. Weird collation. I was probably supposed to get the Bolden in this box. That’s two boxes so far this break without an auto – par for the course.
Contest totals: 7,1,1,0,0,0,0

Based on what these cases are going for, it would cost you an average of over 20 grand to land one of these Harper autos if you are a case breaker.

Therefore, this card is seriously undervalued in the price guide in my estimation.

MOJOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never typed that before, but I feel you need some now. I really hope the rest of this break is going to get better. Where the hell is ANY color?

Case #9, Box #5

Draft Blue /399: Tyler Waldron
Blue Refractor /199: Daniel Nava
Auto: Alex Wimmers

Grade & Comments: F. All base autos so far this case.
Contest totals: 7,1,1,0,0,0,0

LOL, awesome.
Case #9, Box #6

Draft Blue /399: Zach Lee, Mitch Moreland
Auto: Yasmani Grandal
Blue Refractor Auto /150: Josh Sale

Grade & Comments: A. Really nice parallel auto, and in keeping with the weird collation. Sadly, the serial number stamp has somehow imprinted on the face of the card as well. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. There is no indentation, but it’s a perfect shadow of the stamp on the reverse. Would definitely kill the grading, but maybe I can sell it as “L@@K!! RARE SHADOW EFFECT VARIENT 1/1!!!!!!!”
Contest totals: 7,2,1,0,0,0,0
