yes this is purely and example on players names, but say the box topper is a Jumbo card of sidney crosby it will be more than likely serial numbered well you have the option to keep the crosby card intact, or pull a perforated tab usually on the back of the card and inside will be a different normal sized card could be the taylor hall national treasures auto that you saw on the article. Think of the box topper jumbo card as kind of an envelope of sorts. But you could get a card inside that sucks as well. Does this make sense??

yeah makes sense now, not what i thought it was though, i had envisioned something along the lines of the bonus packs of ice inside black diamond/spx. sounds cool, i am looking forward to seeing one of these! plus the checklist on these 200 rcs - one better be mats zuccarello!

No kidding 200 rcs is ridiculous IMO I think it is going to make Zenith VERY hit or miss. IDK though for set collectors they might like it alot.

If you read the articale on the Zenith it says 200 RC in the product. That includes RC from Zenith as well as the National treasures and Donruss Elite RC that are inside the dear to tear cards. My guess would be 100 in the Zenith and 50 in each of the others.

This was done once before. As I recall the 5 x 7 cards did not have a tab to pull. You could take a pocket knife and and slit the back of the 5 x 7 card just under the bulge of the regular card hidden inside.

I am guessing that there will be 75 rookies in each of the three.

so let me get this straight. there are three panini brands then in one product with 3 sets of rc's. then is there 3 taylor halls or 3 diff sets = 200 diff players?

There will be 200 RC in the product scattered over the 3 sets. Some rookies will probably have a card in all 3. So three Tayor Halls.

You might be right on the tab, I was just going by topps releases in baseball and basketball rip cards they had a pull tab, those were the ones I was familiar with.

Yep Zenith did this in 1998 Baseball. Pretty sure they did it with other sports as well.
