What Is Going On? - mancitylover111 - 02-13-2011 06:10 PM

I Have Read The BGS Thing About Texas.

What Is The Extreme Weather?
Why Did I End Up Paying For The 20 Day Service But Now I See That I Actually Get The Cards Back After More That 28 Days?
Is There Any Sort Of Coupon, Money Back, Sorta Thing That We'll Be Getting?

Sorry It Looks Like I'm Rude, But I'm Just Frustrated I Spent Money & Essentially Am Not Getting What I Spent It On.

Did you not follow the lead in to super bowl and see all that snow that came down and paralyzed the city for days?

No, you probably won't get a coupon since the disclaimer mentions weather, plus, if there not open, its not like they can do anything about it. Your cards aren't worth forcing employees to brave the whether.

Also, not sure it your aware, the weekends, and delivery times are never included in the turnaround.

I always thought those dates were guaranteed, looks like I was wrong.

Evidently, you stopped reading. In the very next paragraph it says that Acts of GOD do not deem Beckett to be in violation of the guarantee.

I did read it, evidently you didnt understand what I was saying.

I said "I always thought those dates were guaranteed, looks like I was wrong."

meaning, I always thought the 45 day grading meant 45 biz days (no weekends/holidays) was guaranteed. it appears I was wrong in that assumption because the links says they are not responsible for delays caused by....a paragraph of things...that could happen.

If Beckett can say GOD, why can't you?

resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, acts of civil or military authority, civil disturbance, war, fire, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, strikes, freight embargoes, transportation contingencies, shortages of facilities, fuel, energy, labor or materials, or laws, regulations, acts or order of any government agency or official thereof, other catastrophes, delays of subcontractors or suppliers arising from unforeseeable causes beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of either the Contractor or the subcontractors or suppliers, or any other circumstances beyond Provider's reasonable control. In the event of any such delay or failure, the parties shall defer performance of the Services to a date and time mutually agreeable.

that's the paragraph of stuff that can go wrong. you're over simplifying it.

Yep that paragraph pretty much means you will never get a refund if they are late Smile

Basically, if outside influences cause the building to close (in this case, weather), it is not counted as a business day.
In this instance, the ice and snow made the roads nearly impossible to drive on. All schools in the DFW area were closed the entire week. There were rolling blackouts, so the power was intermittently turned off to the building.
If we are in the building, we are going to ship your order out on or before its due date.

Seems like the weather's finally passed a bit, shipping's probably improving.
