2011 Topps Series 1 Box Break - charleybrown - 02-08-2011 10:01 PM Just my opinion but the leather name plate should not qualify as a relic in 2011 Topps. Its purely a rip off. you can't even give them away on eBay. No doubt there will be people trying to complete the set on here, so I think your best bet is to trade RE: 2011 Topps Series 1 Box Break - dbroockerd - 02-08-2011 11:10 PM you can give them to me then RE: 2011 Topps Series 1 Box Break - baybuyer2009 - 02-09-2011 12:19 AM You don't like Topps, buy from other manufacturers then. owh wait, Topps knows they are alone...... RE: 2011 Topps Series 1 Box Break - kb76 - 02-09-2011 02:44 PM You can feel free to give me all the Yankee ones you get. RE: 2011 Topps Series 1 Box Break - turk3yr3d - 02-10-2011 07:50 AM so what did you pull?? RE: 2011 Topps Series 1 Box Break - shivelycore - 02-10-2011 07:56 AM I like the bat barrells much better than these leather cards. Although I'd prefer they be something the player actually used somehow. But whatever. RE: 2011 Topps Series 1 Box Break - ceocards - 02-10-2011 08:04 AM I agree that it's a bit sneaky/underhanded calling them a 'relic'. But I liked the Bat barrel cards, and I like the nameplate cards. Heck I even like most of the manufactured patches. For me it's more about the look of the card than whether or not it's actually a "game used" item. I agree...and if it means so much to someone that its "real", that's where high-end stuff comes into play. For regular Topps, the manufactured stuff is the perfect fit. |
