I actually don't think that looks too bad with the Favre as a Packer, but I feel like the Green would be a little overwhelming with other players/teams. Very cool though.

I think that it looks fine, but that's my opinion. It looks infinitely better than the wood paneling that resembled my father's den from 1984. I think that the design would grow tiresome over a 400 card set, but I have no intention of making one lol.

I did, however, make a different design that I was asked to.

What do you think of this (and btw, I will be making Favre for each of the designs I create. These ones are for me.)

Oh yeah, I love the 89 score lol. It's kind of overdone now though. They brought it back in this year's score, and before that they brought it back in 2009 score.

Yeah, I agree, but when I get a request, I try to do something with it. I think mine looks better than what Panini keeps sending back out, but I'm biased. There's a place for simple design, but I like my cards--that I make and buy--looking as flashy and expensive as possible. Makes me feel as if they're a better value when they put some effort into the design.

Okay, after a morning of playing with other designs, I got to make a few new cards for the 1989 Pro Set Legends set I've been toying with. I said that I was making cards for a receiver the other day, only to do the wrong one, then do several customs for people who asked for specific players.

Finally got him done today:

Also got to do these:

That's it for today. Tomorrow is yet another wide receiver. I think I should have used a different checklist for making these because there are far too many receivers in it.

Also, if anybody has any suggestions for retired Carolina Panthers, please send them my way. I haven't made any Panthers up to this point. I already plan on making a Sam Mills, but I'm willing to take suggestions on good to great retired Panthers that didn't play for a ton of teams.

Thanks

Sam Mills is a great choice. John Kasay, Kevin Greene, and Lamar Lathon would be my other suggestions.

By the way, great customs!

How did I forget about Kevin Greene? He's the LB coach for the Pack right now. I should have remembered him. I'm going to add these guys to my list of future ones. Don't know if I'll do them all, but I'm definitely doing Mills soon.

Thanks for the suggestions and compliment.

Thanks for saying so. I will keep making them as long as people are enjoying them and I have the time.
