3 Fun 2005-06 Box Breaks With Scans!
The lockout is here, we all hate it, and we all try to find a way to cope with the lack of hockey. Some people hide away, selling off their collections due to frustration, others buy the new products, hoping for something amazing that will restore their faith in hockey, and others buy older stuff, because it reminds us all of a better day in hockey.
Today, I was out Christmas shopping with a horrible lack of success, but I decided to pop into Wayne's to see what they had. They had some 2005-06 boxes marked down to sell. I couldn't help myself. I bought 2 of those mini-boxes of 2005-06 Between the Pipes and 1 box of 2005-06 Heroes and Prospects Series II. I am happy with both, the scans can do the talking. Two Tony-Os, a Tretiak auto, and a gold jersey of Richter=pretty happy The H&P was an Ellison hot box! Too bad Ellison isn't Crosby or Ovechkin...

I would say that you did very good on these breaks. How much were the mini boxes of Between the Pipes.

The two mini "superboxes" of BTP were on sale from the MSRP of $89.99 down to $39.95 each. Got 25 base cards and two hits per box. I thought it was a very fair price. The Heroes and Prospects box was also $39.95. ![]() SUPER-BANNER BY THA PENGUIN Collecting Irbe Items from 1980s to 2009 My Goaltending Museum: http://bcgoaltendingmuseum.weebly.com/ |

Very nice stuff, Bruce! I know that you don't really trade, but I would be interested in the Tretiak and Cournoyer AU's. Thanks for the share!
