So lately i've been reading a lot of people posting they went to walmart, bought a couple $10 boxes and got some pretty nice cards. Well last night i decided to take a trip to walmart to test my luck. I got the 2012 Topps Update 75 card box. When i first opened it I was greatly disappointed, i went through the first half of the cards with NOTHING; not even a single rookie. As i started to get deeper in the deck, i started to come across better cards. This is what I came out with.

As far as the patch goes, I looked on the price guides and it didn't have a price, but it did say Pop. 6.

I knew I had at least the $10 back i spent, i just had my expectations a lot higher. I was wanting an auto or bryce harper. But overall, I would buy another one. Not a bad purchase

If you go into retail boxes with super high expectations your hopes and dreams will be crushed. I would say you did fantastic. Is that Drew Hutchenson card gold or gray?

It was actually a chrome card. I was a little shocked to find that, i wasn't sure if it was a mistake or what. But its Topps Chrome

I'm pretty sure the Ichiro is just a base card. They stopped putting his last name on cards a ways back.

But that was a decent retail box. Congrats.

The Ichiro is the base card. The SP has him bowing. His last name hasnt been on cards in a while. The Uggla relic isnt the #/6 card, that is a jumbo patch. Still a good break for a retail box.
