need help with deciding on buying a bvg 5.5 topps 1955 yogi berra or a bvg 7 topps 1956 berra. values ungraded are $300 (1955)and $150 (1956) on high side ungraded. price is $125 each. which would be the better choice?

It all boils down to preference. Which one would you rather have? You're going to be its new owner. ![]() Special Props to pyr0punk for this Amazing & Killer Banner!! |

RE: 1955 1956 topps bvg baseball
I agree with Nolan5000 but from a pure value standpoint, it's a difficult choice. It doesn't help that the OPG on this one is confusing, because it lists the '55 5.5 graded value at $160 est. which is LESS than the raw value of $210 est. The 56 value both raw and graded for a 7 is $175.
Personally, I need the 55 for my set, but there is something to be said for having a nice mid 50's NM 7 in your collection. If not building a 55 set, I would probably go with the 56 with those grade choices.
