Feel like I'm beating a dead horse but to retell a story I've brought up in dozens of other threads:

House flooded.

Box of graded cards, the box was ruined. Graded cards - untouched.

I'd do it just to get the cards encased. Better protection and easy to keep up with.

I would get it graded just to have it slabbed to make sure it doesn't get damaged.

Here are the points I would make if you got it slabbed: long term protection, awesome display, authentication.

With that said, I would send it in to BGS ask for a grade of 9 or higher or (if it doesn't qualify) just put the blue authentication label on it.

How about a scan and post it on here? Im curious to see what it looks like.

I would go for it either way.

1) If it's for your PC, it will keep it in great shape and keep it protected as well.

2) If you're going to sell it, it gives the thing a grade and you don't have to worry about some chuckle head filing an item not as described.

So it sounds like getting it graded would be a good idea. More for the protection than the actual grade. I will probably do that. Thanks.

I can't see the attachment. Use photobucket and copy + paste the IMG codes of the images you like to post here.

I would say grade it. I just got a 1/1 dual reebok logo graded and received a 9.5. Now my card is protected and will look awesome in the BGS case. I also would think a 1/1 graded high would bring some sort of premium. It wouldnt be about it just being a 1/1 anymore. It would be knowing that your 1/1 is in the best possible condition it could be in depending how it grades.

Being a lifelong Cowboys fan, I never thought that I'd agree with a 9er fan. But this user makes an excellent point.
