Another player with limited autos.. Started thinking why a redemption for an auto of
MITCH RICHMOND was so going for a pretty good chunk of change.. Now I know why... I used to collect him when I was a in junior high & high school.. Didn't even know he played off the bench for the Lakers in 2001-02. I missed that entire season, because I was deployed overseas.. didn't watch much tv & internet sucked connectivity sucked or was turned off just about every other day while floating around the middle east. M. Richmond is on my list of favorites that I need to get an auto of..

I was just looking at his card list today.. 255 cards, no autos... 7 cards in lakers uniform.. I remember him when he played.. but don't remember how good he was...

I've noticed that too. I've picked up two boxes of 97-98 Bowman's Best for two reasons: One, it's a good-looking set with lots of inserts and two, there are 3 chances to hit a Mitch Richmond auto (base, refractor and atomic refractor versions, all on-card). Haven't hit any autos of any kind yet though. I'll keep trying!

Hmm, well I think his best playing days was when he was a Dallas Maverick, then he became a NY Knick for only a few seasons. This was the early 90s (I was born in '85). A player from today to compare him to, I would say Chauncey Billups but better court vision, better passer, not by much. Maybe even Andre Miller but not as good as he is with assists. I really liked him when he was a Knick, best believe I'm all over that first Knick auto of him (if it ever happens, sigh). I remember him being a Laker lol, like in 2000? But I don't remember how he played then, his playing days were pretty much over when he became a Laker.

16, 10 are on-card autos.. 126 jersey/patch cards...

surprised.. he only has 531 cards.. I would think he'd have more, since all card companies been throwing in HOF players in most of their sets..

I just made a deal for my first Richmond auto! Not a Lakers one for you jpleaze haha. He's in his Wizards jersey, I usually think of him as a Sacramento King, but I'm stoked to get my first one. Just 29 more to go!
