For those of you who don't know, I recently retired my football-card blog, BustingPacks.com. Although it is a sad occasion, I am excited to finally have some free time to actually ENJOY the hobby by trading on Beckett and not having to record/scan/write about every product I touch.

To celebrate my new found freedom, I got three boxes of cards today: One box of Gold Standard and two of 2011 Limited.

I opened my box of Limited and it was LOADED...then my box of Gold Standard was awesome as well.

Scans of MY two boxes are below, but first I thought I would share a video of the second box I opened...should be a nice surprise for someone.



Sorry your box was not as spectacular as mine, buddy. I thought it was going to be something special when I felt how fat the pack was. Oh well, should at least provide you with some trade bait. Thanks again for your friendship and support.

NOW...on to MY LOADED box of Limited and my awesome box of Gold Standard...keep in mind that Limited is supposed to have one auto, one mem, and ONE more hit (either auto or mem.) Suffice it to say, I beat the odds. PS - The Jahvid Best is a 1/1!!!

All are being saved as trade bait for Heisman Trophy Winner RG3, Kendall Wright, Terrance Gannaway, and Elliot Coffee (Baylor players sure to be featured in the 2012 products.) If you desperately want one of these cards and are willing to trade something of equal "trade-bait-value," I am all ears :-)

So you were telling me Jahvid is done, eh? Considering that, do you think I could even get 30-50 bucks for the 1/1 or not even that? I'm guessing in auction it would sell for around $30 but if I find a hardcore Jahvid collector (are there any anymore?) maybe get 50-70 in trade value.

Thoughts?

Any other Jahvid experts out there?

I'd love to see him play again but three major concussions are hard to come back from I think you'd get way more than $30 at auction and at least $75 in TV ..... it's a beautiful card

I did see he did have some autos out in Limited for the Initial Steps set.
