I thought so too. I had never seen anything like it. So had to have it.
Its my first discus/vintage olympic style sports.
More like shot put and not discus. They call it hammer throwing 100 years ago
I guess I can create a custom category and call it vintage olympic. Thoughts
On category?

It's really very nice and i think will be one of the best one's among your collections. It contains the short but a detailed information on this game.

Omar: good point. It does have a great description, also has cigarette advertising. Huge bonus.

I was thinking the same thing (cards in great shape). Nice pickup!

Nice looking card, and a fine conversation piece. Will you display it where someone can walk by and say, "What is that?"

I look for career Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs, Fire, Red Stars, and Sky players in their respective Halls of Fame. Add to that list some personal favorite lifers from past and present rosters, and everything else in my collection is up for trade.

Jonathan: thanks. Great suggestion. I think it would make a great display piece. Along with other similar oddballs.
