RE: What is this Topps Lineage
From what I've seen of it, I agree with you 100%.
It's like they had no idea where they wanted to go with it or what they wanted the cards to look like, so they just went EVERYWHERE with it.

RE: What is this Topps Lineage
This product has "one and done" written all over it. I can't see it sticking around.

RE: What is this Topps Lineage
Not only that, but the rookies I've seen are made to look like those old glossy all-star cards from the late 80's. I don't even want rookies because just the sight of cards that look like that mass produced junk makes me cringe! Haha.

I'm so glad I didn't pre-order this stuff.

Yep, it's one of those products that someone should probably lose their job over if you ask me, LOL.

RE: What is this Topps Lineage
Topp has to cut down on the products.. I vote for this lineup:

Topps
Topps Chrome
Allen & Ginter
Bowman
Bowman Chrome
Topps Heritage
Either Triple Threads or Tribute but not both
Opening Day(for very low end)
and then one real high end.. take your pick(one of the sterlings)

bye to Bowman Platinum, Bowman Draft,Finest, T206, Chicle, pro debut, or any other one and done gimmick

remember they also have Sticker, Heritage Minor, Marquee,, Tier one coming this year... it is out of control

Finder's Fee for these cards if I obtain them(NO EBAY or COMC).

2010 Neftali Feliz Ginter Relic,

RE: What is this Topps Lineage
These are the ones that would be in my lineup. I can't stand the rest, and don't even like Opening Day, but it fills a market niche.

Topps
Topps Chrome
Bowman (with Chrome parallels)
Bowman Platinum
Topps Marquee
Tribute
Opening Day
Sterling

RE: What is this Topps Lineage
Its just another set to celebrate the 60 year anniversary...I believe its its going to be their "retro" set for the year. I guess I'm the only who was excited by this set...I like the 75 mini cards, I like the 3d cards, and there are good autos including Aaron and Koufax

RE: What is this Topps Lineage
It probably would not be so bad if they did not have all the parallel sets along with all of the regular sets. I mean really
Topps
Topps Target
Topps Wal-Mart
Topps Gold
Topps Black
and they all use the exact same picture, do we really need all the variations? I am sure I missed some but you get the point.
