$10 boxes at Walmart

$10 boxes at Walmart
I cracked 2 $10 boxes at walmart.

1st box:

97-98 PInnacle (24 packs) with 2 major hits:

Small hits:

Gretzky signature moves
Hossa RC X2
Jokinen RC
Thornton RC X2
Gretzky Base
Roy Base
Yzerman Base

BIG HITS:

Patrick Roy RINK COLLECTION
Martin Brodeur EPIX moment Purple

I was pretty Happy with this box. There were not many hits (according to the odds, I should have hit another rink collection and an artist proof) BUT the 2 big hits paid for my box six times over, so I am pretty happy.

The second box was a 08-09 Collectors Choice. No Stamkos, but a few decent pulls:

RCs:

D'Agostini
Robbie Earl
Shawn Mattias

Choice Reserve Silver RC's:

TJ Oshie
Fabian Brunnstrum
Blake Wheeler

Chippy's Choice Kovalchuk Choice Reserve
Trios cards of Pens, Flames and Flyers

Cup Quests

Henrik Sedin (2nd round)

All in all, not too bad.

I'm loving retail lately.

Walmart has 3 more 24 pk boxes of 97-98 PInnacle at $10 each, I'm probably going to head down there tomorrow and grab em.
Currently Collecting Patrick Roy, PK Subban and Carey Price.

I keep checking my local walmarts to see if they have any of these, they would be awesome fun for $10.

Nice hits in the Pinnacle.

Nice hits in the Pinnacle.

Be aware, the stated odds don't seem to apply to these. I've opened 5 boxes so far (120 packs) and have hit only 7 rink collection, 1 team pinnacle, 2 epix and NO artist proofs.

for 10 bucks though, I'll take my chances, those Epix are gorgeous.

I busted 6 of these and got some sweet hits including a mask card and a Gretzky rink collection. They are fun breaks.

Man I wish my Wal-Mart would get some in....I will open pretty much anything for $10.

90's stuff is perfect to try and knock off some Wendel cards.
