RE: A Double Helping Of SPA Mojo
Sweet stuff Dayton, but I guess Im in the minority on this one...just cant get over the college pics with the pro jerseys, event worn or not. Its the first time in my collecting career that I wont buy any SPA.
But they should fetch you some PC stuff..
Thanks for sharing!

RE: A Double Helping Of SPA Mojo
Hey, thanks, yea its my first Tebow pull of any significant kind all year, so thats why its a PC item.

As for the college jersey, yea I understand what youre saying but the SPA stuff is actually significantly better than the two prior releases. Here's why IMO: The quality of the photos looks like they were taken last year, rather than from the back of a pick up truck in the end zone...like they did in Sweet Spot. To me, that minor thing really is important to making the cards look current, and good.

RE: A Double Helping Of SPA Mojo
Not sure what pro jerseys your talking about, but every rookie I've seen is a college jersey. The Sweet Spot and SPx did have rookie premiere NFL jerseys, but all the SPA is college. I've seen a few vet patch autos that are probably NFL. I think they look great even with the smaller patch size. I would rather have a small 2+ color patch than a big 1-color.

I dig this product. The layout is great and on card autos are always the best for me (one of the reasons I love my 07 Press pass legends auto set)
Sweet hits, pulled that Kindle myself, the BCS and Jrsy autos are great.
That Tebow should make some amazing trade bait for your Contenders set.
Congrats.

Haha thanks. Yea it would take both a Bradford and a Tebow home jersey to get it, at the least

Upper Deck was not permitted to use any photo's of the players in their Pro team uniform, as they do not have a license/Licenses to produce Official NFL cards, they are only allowed to produce cards that contain pictures of the players in their collegiate uniforms, and in the case of GU/patches they have to come from their collegiate uniform, they are not allowed to use Any pro team material or pictures..

As far as the Auto's go, Upper Deck has a habit of not paying the players, which is why they were not granted an NFL, NFLPA Licenses< also I believe the counterfeiting of the Yu-gi-oh cards also made the NFL wary of UD's practices.
