FOLDER USAGE 101
Been asked in numerous PM's how to use FOLDERS inside organize,,,,below is some screen prints and some basic instruction,,,,,the pics are in my photobuckett under Beckett Teach if you need larger views or email me I'll send them to you,,,

Adding a FOLDER is easy,,,, merely go to your organize and hit "Add Folder" , name it, and it will appear in your organize,,,,

To move a collection into the FOLDER,,,, go to the MANAGE COLLECTIONS,,,,,

In my example,,, I am choosing the top one titled 1984 Donruss,,,, you will be able to tell when you choose the collection because the background will change slightly and the pencil & trashcan in the far right column under actions will change colors ( normally its black-- when chosen it turns blue),,,,,,

A pic of that is below,,,,,, hit the PENCIL

You can then see a drop down happen and 3 new icons will appear under the actions column,,,,,

See below for a pic of how that looks,,,,,

Choose the FOLDER you want the collection to go into,,,, in my test case I named it TEST,,,,,

Once you choose the FOLDER you want it in,,,,, hit the icon in the upper left corner ( I used arrows to show exactly where it is below),,,,,

It will now show in your MANAGE COLLECTIONS the name of the folder you have assigned that collection to,,,, and anytime you want to view it just go to the FOLDER you assigned and it will show the collections you put there,,,,,

RE: FOLDER USAGE 101
A little addition to the subject

Creation of the folder as mentioned by the mod

But i have been able to move collection by a click and drag... in the main list (your collection) on the left...when at the right place to drop you will see some green arrow just aside of the folder name

this is quicker imo than what have been explain..

MVP Total Project 8266/13183 63% (may be a bit more...with the beckett downtime i may have missed some...)

Okay that's cool , but here's an issue I'm struggling with. I am not able to move cards from one collection to another example move selected cards from all items collection to a new collection folder I made ie 2009 bowman draft orange. When the move is executed the program says add successful but, when I open the collection it is empty, so what am I doing wrong . Thanks for any and all help Die hard Jets Fan

I just looked in your Organize and you've got 80 or 90 collections listed.

RE: FOLDER USAGE 101
Thanks Jeff very helpful...I setup up six folders and moved 11 collections. I clicked on my all items to see if I was able to start moving cards amongst my collections to find I have no cards. When I click a refresh, it turns out about 2,000 cards were added to my collections. When I scaned the left side collumns to look at my collection, I notice all the folders I set up was un-done and went back to my pervious settings. However, under "manage collection," the collections I moved into folders were still in those folders..So I have collections in folders but no folders and I have 2,000 new cards that I don't have...Having fun!

RE: FOLDER USAGE 101 - deleting folders
Is there a way to remove/delete empty folders? I was trying to add a single folder, the system froze and I ended up with over a dozen folders with the same name.

Thanks

Kevin
