RE: Vintage Pickups
That '58 Banks is a sweet card. Also, what set is that John Lennon from? You may have heard, I have a little interest in The Beatles Smile

Interested in EX-MT or better pre-'56 Cardinals, '53 Bowman Color & '74-'78 Topps.

I thought I might get your attention with that one! Not sure what it is. The card isn't in the greatest shape. It has a spot on the back where some tape was taken off. It also has a crease that you really can't see unless you look at it real close. It may be 1964 Beatles Black and White #16 John Lennon, but the back says "# 16 in a series of 60 photos". The 64 black and white set has 165 cards in it. Cool card though. I bought these all as a lot and it had just this one non-baseball in it. Here are better pics of it.

RE: Vintage Pickups
It has a similar back to the Deckle Edge cards. Hmm, more research is in order.

Sweet, thanks for the info. Ironically, one Beatles collectible I have not gotten into (yet) are cards. I probably need to start. Let me know if you want to trade.

RE: Vintage Pickups
Beatles Guy - Seeing your signature about vintage catchers, I just remembered that I got this in the mail a couple of days ago. Picked it up for 50 cents + $2 shipping just because I thought it was a cool looking card!

What do you have in Cincinnati Reds? Mostly looking for Barry Larkin, but will consider others.

Sweet. In fact, I just purchased that card on another site but it got lost in the mail so the seller refunded me. I love the early 50's Bowman issues.

RE: Vintage Pickups
Very nice Vintage
Cool Lennon although I am a Country bot myself and yes " A Country Boy Can Survive"
I also like the 50s as well I just wish I had a few more. But I can only focus on one set for now.
