What one card or auto, or set would you buy.

Just made some money in the market, looking at a 1933 delong gehrig. Or a Walter Johnson auto. Or maybe just putting it back in the market.

Ideas?

No, I dont want a Pujols rc.

RE: If you had the money...
I would start by PM'ing your buddy Ryan on your hot stock tip. HAHA Then the 52 Mantle would be a great idea.

Looking for Ryne Sandberg, Micah Gibbs, and Cubs Topps commons.
Now using paypal shipping so everyone will get a DC number and no more trips to P.O.!

RE: If you had the money...
Personally I would love to get a SGC 84 1954 Topps Hank Aaron RC

I had about 75-80% of the money I would have needed saved up at one point but ended up having to use most of it for bills so I bought some other random PC autos, etc. with the few hundred I had left

No longer a hot stock pick... Rode it up to where I felt that I am foolish not to sell. So as of now, it is overpriced. But the next one I think will be LYG. (Just an opinion, not advise)

Actually looked at the 51 bowman. for some reason the 52 Mantle never appealed to me. Think that it is somewhat overpriced for a card that is not his true rc. But scarcity gives a nice rise in value, but for that money, I think I could get something even cooler.

RE: If you had the money...
Depending on how much money....any autograph from the first HOF inductees. Besides that, I'm with Cardboard about the Aaron rookie....or maybe a Mathews.

RE: If you had the money...
Yeh, unfortunately both are a few thousand outside of my price range. Even the poor ones fetch a pretty good penny. I saw somebody selling distressed reprints "that look just like the real thing" on the bay (and people were bidding on them). Hopefully they don't show up as the real thing later on.

That is why for something that valuable, buy slabbed, from a reputable company.
