Who do you think will win this battle? From what I see the JETS are built to win now...and I feel that Pennington gives them the best shot (even though he lacks a strong arm). Kellen is a wait and see for the future. If they do indeed start Pennington then what do you all think will happen to Clemens?
Clemens will hold the clipboard until the 2nd quarter of the first game, when he'll come in and replace Pennington, who will be hurt and out for the season by then.

I know I'm biased and all but thats what always stood out for me.

  So true.
Last year fall from grace for Pennington wasn't really his fault. It was the defense that lost the games for the Jets. They couldn't close out..and let's be honest..the offensive line was a mess. I remember when Pennington 2000 SP Authentics (BGS 9.5) were selling over $400. Now you can get them for under $100. How things have changed...but with that being said I still think Pennington should be the starter and then traded next season. Anybody from the Ny area hear anything regarding the QB situation for the Jets?
i honestly think the Jets want Clemens to win the job, but they have to be fair and let them compete, Pennington has earned the right to at least compete for his job. I also think though if they compete 1 on 1 Pennington will win because hes the better all around QB at this point, Clemens though need playing time to realize his potential (whatever that may be). Fact is they need to decide a week or 2 into the preseason, you dont want to get too close to the season without knowing who your QB is going to be
with those two choices there will be one clear loser -- the Jets.

basically all Ive heard lately is that everyday they switch off,One day Pennington practices with the 1st team offense and the next day Clemens does and so on and so forth. Neither one at this point has distiguished himself as the clear No.1 QB yet thouh
just ignore rexvos, dont respond. Is it that hard for people to answer a simple football question without bashing anyone? Theres 3 possible answers for the question asked either you think pennington/Clemens/ or your not sure, I dont believe he asked if "neither" was an option, because obviously its not

That's just mean to say. Why would you wish injury on a player? So wrong...
