i've been collection for nearly 20 years and the only major card variations that elude me are a graded card, a printing plate, and a 1/1. how long did it take anyone else to pull one of these?

I've never pulled a printing plate, but I have been lucky enough to get 6 1/1's. Best bet if you want to pull a 1/1 is a product that has tons of serial numbered parallels or a really high end product. Or else you could just keep an eye out on ebay and you can usually find a pretty sweet deal
