Huddy got hamered today... uggh.
Randy- thanks for writing topps... that was a quick turnaround, glad they know a thing or two about how to make the auto's "random" Can't win them all now can we?
Good MAENing, hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
Played a nice double header today for my Roy Hobbs 18-28 year old league. Toed the rubber in the first game CG, 1 ER, 2 R, 9 K's and 1 for 3 at the dish with a flyout to DEEP left field Warning Track Power :doubt: Second game played a mean shortstop with some nice picks today and again 1 for 3 with a frozen rope straight at the Left Fielder :doubt:
Sorry to toot my own horn just had a good baseball day and wanted to share! Improves my Pitching Record to 4-1 and our teams overall record to 9-4-1 Pretty Good!
Jaycob
Awesome Jaycob! What is your money pitch?
Finally back to sorting cards after 2 busy months. I have a stack of mailers to go through on my desk and a hobby box of 2000 Bowman Chrome to open (looking for Oswalt RC's). Will do it on the other site soon.
Had all of the t-ball all-stars at the house today for the post season party. Had a jumpy thing, a water slide and a dunking booth that all the coaches had to take a turn in. It was a blast.

My curve is probably best pitch, big breaker and gets a lot of dinker grounders and that is always a good sign!

son worked both games and I made my $xxx , funny how my fee pays his salary.
i did close in 5th inning to walk around . noticed how young girls in stands were making signs to Madison . we lost both games .maybe I can get autos today .
Good MAENing everyone:
I climbed out at 6:30 this morning, ready to sort some more cards. I did a lot yesterday and have tons more to do. Not a one or two day job. Besides, my neck gets to hurtin' looking down so much.
DavidLee -- I was a Greek. Kappa Alpha Order at Arkansas State. We were mostly farm guys who formed a local fraternity and then became KAs. I'm a charter member of our Delta Eta Chapter. I go back for reunions a lot. Bittersweet at my age, because a lot of my brothers are gone now. Hard to believe that these men who are always so young in your mind are now gone. Most that I see look better than they did when they were in their early 20s.
Randy, lots of things coming your way. As a clue, when I discovered I had a complete set of Cardinals cards, I put them in a team bag, but only if there were more than five. Some of the team sets are only three cards. There's some sweetness in there for you.
Dan: I am coming across a lot of Ozzie dupes that I'm sending to you. They should be along soon.
I hope you all are enjoying a magic weekend.
All the best,
Ironman
Hiya TCs:
Well, I've been sorting for quite a while and have huge numbers of cards for Randy, plus some more for D-Backs Dan and Mike G. I also came across some Phillies and even a Brewers card that was mixed in.
Nearly all of these cards have been sent by various and wonderful TCs, so I am sort of "passing it on" on what I didn't need. And what I did...Zippy WOW. I found many that I needed to add to my PC, so you guys are still coming through. I can't tell you how many I have yet to sort, but I think you know the problem.
Is Scott still part of the TCs? I haven't seen him or heard from him in some time. Randy, are you sending cards back and forth? I hope Scott stayed with us after I "retired."
Anyway, I will have another shipment of cards next week. I will try to get them shipped out by Thursday, since Friday is a holiday and the Lovely Linda has another Marathon event planned for me. I do have a short week, so I plan to sort some more and get the goodies in the mail.
Randy, I usually sort by maker, year, set and number, so it should be fairly easy for you to sort through them to see what you need for the PC.
Now, I'm going to quit and watch the Redbirds and Royals and have a wonderful lunch. The Lovely Linda is pulling out all the stops because she's celebrating my birthday tomorrow by being mostly nice to me today. She revealed that she got me two autograped baseball from the place Randy mentioned on the other site -- Jack Clark and, my favorite of all time, Joe Cunningham. Trouble is, a month after placing the order, they didn't come int. Ratz......
Happy Sunday to all, wherever you are,
Ironman

I havent heard from him since the first month I joined. He told me that I can hold off on sending if I wanted so that I can build up but I said that I would and havent seen or heard from him since.
