Tony,
Consider that your special X-mas in July gift!

Glad I could help. All I ask is you put an asterik in your record book indicating a Red Sox fan finished off your set.

I will tell you this, that team is FOR REAL. They may still be a year away, but team is going to be a powerhouse if they can keep their young guys together...
Braves come to town this weekend...I am really excited about it too..the Braves were always my "national league team", as I watched them alot growing up on TBS, and I absolutely loved the big three of Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz...this will be the first time the Braves visit Angels Stadium..
This weekend begins our summer of weddings...I am in a buddy's wedding this Saturday, then my fiance is in three weddings, and we are attending another (that would be five in one summer, for those of you who are counting!) I guess its a good thing in a way though, as since we are getting married next summer, we will get alot of ideas of what works and what doesnt...
Game 3 tonight....must win for the Lakers...Wayne, drink a couple of Red Bulls tonight!
I have you beat on attending weddings = 6 out of 7 weekends in a row ! Funny I was friend of 5 brides didn't know husband but liked all but one. this was early 70's
Hey folks! Hope everyone is having a good day! Sent out some packages to Dave, Randy, Jason and Dan our O's collector! Let me know when they arrive and Randy your two packs of Topps Series II are in there, hopefully you pull something nice for yourself or the group! I think thats all for now, hope everyone has fun with your X-Mas in July! To bad funds aren't there :doubt: Oh well.

Hiya TCs:
Well, I've sort of been to NYC. Once I rode through it, 1972, as a passenger in a car heading from Providence, R.I., to Norfolk, Va. I was in the Navy. I have to say I actually was inhaling and don't remember much. What a weekend though. I also saw NYC from the Newark airport as I was waiting for a ride to interview Yogi Berra. I really looked at the Twin Towers for a while as I had breakfast. Who would have thought.
Jaycob, if your cooking, bring some of your BBQ to the TC Convention. I have to try it. I love BBQ and what we call BBQ up here is akin to dog food. Maybe Barry will bring one too. Not too much. All that fat would really make me sick, but a small bbq on the bun. Yummmmmmm. I will add the cole slaw.
Slow card week. I've been picking up some parallels from Topps and Bowman to flush out the sets. With Gold and Gold Lettering in Topps, and Chrome and Refractors and Xfractors in Bowman, I never get the complete sets of them. Dodger Dave helped me with some out of the graciousness of his heart. I hope he makes it. I want to have my picture taken between Matt and Dave.
I spent the day writing 16 bios for Arizona Cardinals players. It's for our autograph cards we make for them. Whoo, it was a chore because most of the were rookies. Nothing to write but college and high school histories.
I have a thousand little things to do and one of them is to prepare a living will. How's that for depressing. I did get a letter from the IRS saying my Economic Stimulus package is coming. Woo Woo. Maybe I'll buy two boxes!!!!! Think that's what Bush had in mind?
For Adams'Dad, I picked up a MoPac Express Baggage for my HO collection. Cool looking car. Should look good with all those MoPac passenger cards. I run a bunch of railroads, but MoPac and Texas and Pacific are my favorites. I have Southern, Norfolk and Western, Cotton Belt, Southern Pacific and Frisco, with a smattering of KC Southern and Santa Fe. I model Missouri and Arkansas in 1939.
You all have a good time. Cardinals are in Cincinnati tonight. Another rookie, Boggs, starting tonight. I saw Parisi start last Thursday night in D.C., and four innings of constant runs. Good to learn he went to Memphis on Friday.
Have a great evening TCs,
Ironman

Thom,
Do you have any pictures? I'd love to see your layout(s), that's a hobby I'd love to get started but of course not until after I move.
